The event welcomed over 200 guests to Elm Ridge Golf Club for a beautiful day on the links, cocktails, on-course food stations and a silent auction. The funds will help purchase equipment for the Hospital’s urology department.

Guests were greeted by volunteers who invited them to enjoy a delicious brunch. But not before they stopped to purchase tickets for the putting contest! Before teeing off, Foundation Managing Director Nathalie Kamel and Committee & Board Co-Chair Dave Cescon welcomed everyone to the tournament. Serge Poirier from Desjardins, Caisse de l’Ouest-de-L’Ile (the Foundation’s Partner for Community) thanked everyone for supporting the event.

Golfers were treated to delicious eats on both the North and South Courses. They enjoyed food from 40 Westt, Bâton Rouge, Café Gentile, Lucille’s Food Truck, La Maison Verte and Taste Italy, drinks from IG Wealth Management (Boucherville) and Molson while also partaking in Longest Drive, Closest to the Pin, Hole-in-One and putting competitions.

Following their round, guests enjoyed a cocktail dînatoire in the bar and patio areas of the clubhouse while also bidding on the wonderful silent auction items, which included wine, rounds of golf, home electronics and a chalet rental, to name a few.

The evening concluded with word from Dr. Assaad El-Hakim, a urologist at Lakeshore General Hospital. He thanked all the participants for their support and shared that the event proceeds would purchase a new prostate morcellator for the Urology Department. Combined with a newly purchased laser, this device will pave the way for same-day prostate surgery at Lakeshore.
