Over $111,000 raised for our Oncology Clinic!

Participants spent a fun day working hard and working together paddling dragon boats, all to raise funds for the Lakeshore General Hospital’s Oncology Clinic. Ten teams and over 200 participants took to the water on Saturday, August 26 and raised over $111,000 for Oncology. Congratulations to Les Vikings for winning the Best Dressed Team – with honourable mentions going to the Paddling Pirates and Oncoflex – Take 2! And a big congratulations to the bronze medallists Strathmore, silver medalists JFL/Harbourvest and gold medalists West Island Warriors! However, when we come together for a cause such as this one, every single participant is a winner and deserves CONGRATULATIONS!
