Pointe-Claire (Québec) – May 1, 2017 – The Lakeshore General Hospital Foundation (LGHF) is launching the sales period for the 21st annual Duck Race with a FREE breakfast on May 31st, from 6am to 9am at Cora restaurant in Pointe-Claire! Anyone purchasing a $10 ticket for the race, that day on-site, receives a complimentary breakfast offered by Cora restaurant, located at 187 Blvd. Hymus in Pointe-Claire. Funds raised will go towards improving health care at the Lakeshore General Hospital.
This year, the Duck Race concept has been completely renewed and will be presented in collaboration with the West Island Mommies Family Fun Fair, which will be held on Sunday, September 10, from 10 am to 3 pm at the Holiday Inn in Pointe-Claire. This ultimate family event offers a host of activities for the whole family in addition to the possibility of winning great prizes.
Ticket holders have a chance of winning one of seven fabulous prizes, including a cruise for two to the Bahamas offered by Expedia CruiseShip Centers, valued at $4,000. Other prizes include: a private cocktail-dinner package for 30 people valued at $1,500 offered by L’Espace Beaconsfield, a $100 per month gift certificate for one year at Bâton Rouge, DDO, his and hers Seiko watches worth $1,100 from Hemsleys Jeweller, a cash prize of $1,000 courtesy of Cimetière et Complexe Funéraire Belvédère, one gift basket per month for one year valued at $1,000 from Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory and a two-night getaway for two in Quebec City, sponsored by the Montreal Airport Marriott In-Terminal Hotel, including train travel voucher, valued at $ 1,000.
