2018 Golf cheque

Pointe-Claire (Québec)—June 5, 2018—The Lakeshore General Hospital Foundation (LGHF) is pleased to announce that the 21st Annual Golf Tournament raised $216,000, which will be used to enhance the quality of care and facilities at the Lakeshore General Hospital. Sponsored by the Tenaquip Foundation, Uptown Volvo, the event attracted nearly 200 participants. Rain, wind and cold did not deter 50 courageous golfers who played the championship course of the Elm Ridge Country Club in Île-Bizard.

Before teeing off, all were treated to an exquisite brunch offered by Desjardins and enjoyed trying their skills at golf-dart, courtesy of Kelitos Sports. On-course culinary tastings were offered by 40 Westt, Bâton Rouge D.D.O., la Maison Verte and Montreal Airport Marriott In-Terminal Hotel, who all kindly braved the elements to support the golfers. A tasty cocktail followed by live performance by the Acafellas Barber shop quartet and a fabulous gourmet meal concluded the event.

“We are particularly grateful to our golf committee and its co-chairs, David Cescon and Renée Yardley, for their dedication to the success of our tournament. Also, a heartfelt thanks to our Sponsors and our Annual Partners for their continued support, which help us to raise funds that will improve healthcare for the patients of the Lakeshore General Hospital,” said Heather Holmes, Managing Director of the Lakeshore General Hospital Foundation.
