Annual 40 Westt event raises $66,000 for our Simulation Center

We are so grateful to everyone who joined us for an extraordinary night at 40 Westt in support of the Lakeshore General Hospital Foundation. The evening was a spectacular success, all in support of a vital cause.

The night began with a champagne cocktail, where guests mingled and soaked in the elegant atmosphere. The sparkling ambiance set the stage for an unforgettable experience. Guests were then treated to a sumptuous 4-course meal prepared by Chef Stefano and his talented team. Each course was expertly paired with wines selected and presented by renowned wine expert Bill Zacharkiw, who offered engaging insights and education throughout the meal. From the first bite to the final sip, it was a true culinary journey.

During dinner, we heard from Dr. Yasmin Halwani and Dr. Robin Nathanson, who spoke passionately about the importance of simulation in teaching and training the next generation of healthcare professionals. Their remarks highlighted just how impactful your support is to our hospital’s future. This year’s event raised crucial funds for our Simulation Centre, which enhances hands-on learning for residents, medical students, and nursing students through realistic training scenarios that strengthen their skills and confidence in delivering care.
