The 23^rd Annual Lakeshore Ball Raises a
Record-Breaking $1,060,000
in Support of Exceptional Care at the
Lakeshore General Hospital

Over 600 guests gathered at Windsor Station’s Salle des pas perdus on October 25 for the 23rd edition of the Lakeshore Ball — an unforgettable evening themed “Sailing Into the Future.” The event raised a record-breaking $1,060,000 in support of the Lakeshore General Hospital.

Guests were welcomed with champagne, and enjoyed elegant canapés by Société Traiteur and an oyster and shrimp bar by Lucille’s Oyster Dive as they explored the beautifully displayed silent auction and listened to the music of Kat.

Guests then entered the dining room, which was adorned with stunning floral centrepieces from Sylvie Daigle Fleurs. Cousin Vinny took to the stage as master of ceremonies, kicking off the program with warmth and humour, followed by Foundation Managing Director Nathalie Kamel, who welcomed everyone and shared heartfelt thanks for the community’s ongoing support. Ball Co-Chairs Tom and Margot Quinn greeted attendees and thanked them for their overwhelming support, followed by Foundation Board Chair Dave Jennings, who recognized our sponsors and supporters.

The four-course meal prepared by Société Traiteur delighted guests, complemented by an open bar courtesy of Brahm Mauer Bar Services. Between courses, The Directors Showband kept the dance floor full with their high-energy performance, and the crowd eagerly took part in both the live and online auctions, led with enthusiasm and friendly competition.

In keeping with the theme of “Sailing Into the Future,” the evening celebrated innovation and forward-thinking care at the Lakeshore General Hospital. The atmosphere was filled with excitement, generosity, and community spirit — culminating in the announcement of the record-setting total of $1,060,000 raised in support of exceptional patient care.
