La FHGL a pris la d\u00e9cision de clore ainsi un chapitre color\u00e9 de son histoire. La loterie associ\u00e9e au canard qui au fil de sa carri\u00e8re aura permis d\u2019amasser pr\u00e8s 1.5 million de dollars, n\u2019obtenait plus les r\u00e9sultats escompt\u00e9s. Le 12 mars 2019 en guise d\u2019adieu, Lakeshore Louis a effectu\u00e9 une ultime tourn\u00e9e de l\u2019H\u00f4pital, r\u00e9coltant dons, photos et remerciements, suivie d\u2019une c\u00e9l\u00e9bration rassemblant employ\u00e9s et b\u00e9n\u00e9voles aux bureaux de la FGHL.<\/p>\n<p>Au cours de cette c\u00e9l\u00e9bration, la FHGL a pu exprimer sa grande reconnaissance envers Bill Wexler, le b\u00e9n\u00e9vole derri\u00e8re la mascotte, qui incarne le personnage depuis de nombreuses ann\u00e9es, ainsi qu\u2019\u00e0 sa conjointe Ardeth. Plusieurs b\u00e9n\u00e9voles qui participaient \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9v\u00e9nement chaque ann\u00e9e sont \u00e9galement venus partager anecdotes et d\u00e9licieux go\u00fbter dans une atmosph\u00e8re \u00e0 la fois festive et nostalgique.<\/p>\n<p>La FHGL invite toute personne int\u00e9ress\u00e9e \u00e0 obtenir un ou plusieurs petits canards embl\u00e9matiques \u00e0 passer \u00e0 leur bureau \u00e0 l\u2019entr\u00e9e principale de l\u2019H\u00f4pital g\u00e9n\u00e9ral du Lakeshore, d\u2019ici la fin avril.
