Plus que jamais, les jeunes cherchent de l\u2019aide pour faire face \u00e0 l\u2019anxi\u00e9t\u00e9, \u00e0 la d\u00e9pression, au TDAH et aux traumatismes. Depuis mars 2020, la Clinique de sant\u00e9 mentale jeunesse de Kirkland a vu son nombre moyen de r\u00e9f\u00e9rences pratiquement tripler. En 2021, l\u2019H\u00f4pital g\u00e9n\u00e9ral du Lakeshore a ajout\u00e9 une unit\u00e9 de sant\u00e9 mentale de 5 lits pour des hospitalisations de courte dur\u00e9e afin de mieux r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 la demande.<\/p>\n<p>Nathalie Kamel, directrice g\u00e9n\u00e9rale de la Fondation, souligne l\u2019importance de ce type d\u2019\u00e9v\u00e9nement pour notre communaut\u00e9. \u00ab Les probl\u00e8mes de sant\u00e9 mentale sont tr\u00e8s pr\u00e9dominants \u00e0 l\u2019heure actuelle et nous voulons faire le maximum pour soutenir toutes les personnes qui ont besoin d\u2019aide. Nous sommes impatients de mettre ces fonds au service de l\u2019H\u00f4pital et de l\u2019Ouest-de-l\u2019\u00cele, pour le b\u00e9n\u00e9fice de notre communaut\u00e9, et nous esp\u00e9rons faire de cet \u00e9v\u00e9nement un rendez-vous annuel pour la Fondation. \u00bb<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00c0 propos de la Fondation de l\u2019H\u00f4pital g\u00e9n\u00e9ral du Lakeshore<\/strong><br \/>\nFond\u00e9e en 1964, la Fondation a pour objectif de recueillir les fonds n\u00e9cessaires \u00e0 l\u2019am\u00e9lioration des soins \u00e0 l\u2019H\u00f4pital g\u00e9n\u00e9ral du Lakeshore. Elle contribue ainsi \u00e0 l\u2019acquisition d\u2019\u00e9quipement m\u00e9dical de pointe, aux r\u00e9novations majeures des structures hospitali\u00e8res et aux programmes et formations sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9s pour le personnel, et ce, pour les initiatives non financ\u00e9es par le
