Pointe-Claire (Qu\u00e9bec) \u2013 Le 30 avril 2019 \u2013<\/strong> La Fondation de l\u2019H\u00f4pital g\u00e9n\u00e9ral du Lakeshore (FHGL) a le tr\u00e8s grand plaisir d\u2019annoncer que la 9e \u00e9dition de son tr\u00e8s populaire \u00c9v\u00e9nement gastronomique B\u00e2ton Rouge, qui a eu lieu le 29 avril dernier, a connu un tr\u00e8s grand succ\u00e8s. Commandit\u00e9 par B\u00e2ton Rouge D.D.O., Air Canada Rouge, Ch\u00e2teau Dollard , Cupcake Couture, Italvine, Pasticceria Alati-Caserta et Saputo, l\u2019\u00e9v\u00e9nement a permis de recueillir 61,000 $, d\u00e9passant ainsi le montant de l\u2019ann\u00e9e derni\u00e8re, gr\u00e2ce aux dons de derni\u00e8re minute. Les fonds iront \u00e0 l\u2019am\u00e9lioration des soins de sant\u00e9 offerts par l\u2019H\u00f4pital g\u00e9n\u00e9ral du Lakeshore.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

L\u2019\u00c9v\u00e9nement gastronomique B\u00e2ton Rouge affichait d\u00e9j\u00e0 complet depuis plusieurs semaines, avec plus de 250 invit\u00e9s. Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 la tr\u00e8s grande g\u00e9n\u00e9rosit\u00e9 des propri\u00e9taires de B\u00e2ton Rouge D.D.O, les convives ont pu d\u00e9buter leur soir\u00e9e avec une heure de cocktail, suivie d\u2019un d\u00e9licieux repas quatre services et de consommations \u00e0 volont\u00e9. Air Canada Rouge, nouvellement partenaire annuel de la FHGL, a g\u00e9n\u00e9reusement contribu\u00e9 au succ\u00e8s de l\u2019\u00e9v\u00e9nement en offrant un cr\u00e9dit de 2000 $ avec Vacances Air Canada pour le tirage. Un encan silencieux regorgeant de fabuleux items gracieusement offerts par une trentaine de compagnies locales a \u00e9galement agr\u00e9ment\u00e9 la soir\u00e9e. Une fois de plus, l\u2019ambiance s\u2019est rapidement enflamm\u00e9e gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 l\u2019animation et \u00e0 la musique entrainante de DJ George Thomas International.<\/p>\n

Prix humanitaire<\/strong>
\nUn des moments forts de la soir\u00e9e fut la remise du Prix humanitaire \u00e0 M Ron Mehra, pr\u00e9sident r\u00e9cemment retrait\u00e9 de uniGear, une soci\u00e9t\u00e9 du groupe David Brown. Mme Holmes et les copr\u00e9sidents du conseil d\u2019administration de la Fondation, Dr Fiore Lalla et M David Cescon, \u00e9taient ravis de rendre hommage \u00e0 ce grand philanthrope pour son sens de la communaut\u00e9 et sa grande g\u00e9n\u00e9rosit\u00e9 envers la Fondation au fil des ans. Homme d\u2019affaires bien connu de la communaut\u00e9 de l\u2019Ouest-de-l\u2019\u00cele, M Mehra a accept\u00e9 son prix sous de longs et chaleureux applaudissements.<\/p>\n

\nFond\u00e9e en 1964, la Fondation a pour objectif de recueillir les fonds n\u00e9cessaires \u00e0 l\u2019am\u00e9lioration des soins \u00e0 l\u2019H\u00f4pital G\u00e9n\u00e9ral du Lakeshore.
